When we first started planning opening a toy shop we agreed that if we were to make it a success we would really need an e-commerce website to run alongside our bricks and mortar shop. I am far from the most computer literate person and so we began researching how we would go about building and running a website. Dylan and Alex at GoMy were recommended to us a by a friend who had his own website built by GoMy and who was very impressed with the outcome. We contacted GoMy and arranged a meeting with Dylan and Alex. They came to see us and we explained exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. They listened, understood what we wanted and we spent some time swopping ideas. From then on we pretty much left it in their capable hands. They contacted all our suppliers and collected the images and product specs they needed and put it all together. Once the website was built I went over to the GoMy offices and spent a morning with Dylan and Alex learning how to use the site, update items, add new products and how to use the wordpress side of the site so I could Blog (check me out!!) They also did some fantastic screen casts for me so, if I forgot how to do things, I could go back and watch the videos on how to do them! Since the website has been up and running and left in my hands (!) it has been plain sailing. Occasionally I have had a couple of problems which have been sorted almost immediately by Dylan or Alex. In fact the other day I contacted them on a Sunday morning and got a reply straight away! Their support and expertise has been outstanding. I have had many many compliments on my website, how professional it looks and how easy it is to use! I always recommended GoMy whenever the opportunity presents itself and if you’re considering having an internet site built then – go with GoMy!
