Our web design and development team are just brimming with brilliant and creative ideas, we love ‘everything’ to do with new web projects and can’t wait to get stuck in to yours.
The sites we build always get our full attention, and we don’t rush anything. We understand the website we build for you is also your essential marketing tool, and you will only achieve your recognition with the highest standards.
We understand most of our clients don’t really understand much about the web, how a website works, or how it is put together, so we just strip out all the waffle and tell it to you straight… GoMySites will not baffle you with science (Just ask us for a list of referrals – we have some very happy website owners that will give us a glowing report).

WordPress Websites
Our WordPress websites are the main product at GoMySites, we are experts in building WordPress websites and have a genuine love for creating them. We like it so much we even built this site using WordPress.
With a WordPress site you get the best options to update and maintain your website yourself. We prefer to give our clients the ability to change just about anything they desire on their own site, this seems like a logical way of cutting out future web developer costs, and keeps you in control of your own business.
What is CMS?
Probably our most common question – CMS means “Content Management System”, in a very basic nutshell explanation this allows easy additions and editing of content on a website… There are many ways to build a CMS system (For instance Joomla or Drupal based), but we personally recommend using a WordPress based website as its just so good!
Using a WordPress website makes blogging easy, we don’t know how much a Blog means to you, but we always recommend adding one if you want a helping hand with your Google rankings (Blogs work very well!!).
E-commerce Websites
If you are looking to sell your products online you will need an eCommerce website. Basically an eCommerce website is a shop with a checkout. Customers browse your site (your shop), put the items they like in their basket, and take them to the checkout to pay you.
The shopping sites we build are extremely complex (but you don’t need to see that part), we present you with a great looking site that is easy to use for your clients, and add a very smart administration area where you can run your whole business from.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
We get those emails too! “We can get you on page 1 of Google for just 9.99″. The real truth about SEO is it’s not so simple. The biggest thing to understand is Google is a fickle thing, and there is no easy way for cracking it!
We do specialise in search engine optimisation, but there is a little more to it than writing about what we can do here.
For us its a bit of an awkward subject – We know there are so many developers out there that build websites and do the same as us, they all think they are the best and they all promise the same things… The bottom line is a vast majority of them don’t really have a clue what they are doing with a proper SEO strategy… Its just a pet hate for us as we see poor SEO every day (Usually from the companies that promise ‘great SEO’).
Every website is different, every plan for the top spot of Google is generally different from the next persons… We will just give it to you straight! You either have a great opportunity or with your £50 budget to crack the word Debt Management just isn’t going to happen.
Turning a negative into a positive
A well executed SEO strategy can sometimes mean that you go after the lower hanging fruit – For instance the industry you are in may be so heavily targeted, with so many of the big guns spending way to much money that its just not practical to compete. Being realistic about the whole thing and lowering your goals to different keywords and phrases is sometimes a good thing!
